DEPOSIT: Unless otherwise instructed refundable cash deposit is due 3 days from date of booking.
AMOUNT OF DEPOSIT: $250 or 10% of total price for land portion, whichever is greater. $250 per person for cruises and land portion of tour. If booking is made within 60 days of departure, full payment for everything is required.
SPECIAL PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTED TOURS AND CRUISES: Require special non-refundable deposit determined for each deal separately at the time of booking.
FULL PAYMENT DUE (tours and cruises): 45 days prior to departure. If booking within 45 days of departure, full payment is required.
CREDIT CARD ACCEPTANCE: Mediterra accepts all major credit cards for payment. There might be additional charge for credit card acceptance
FIT (Individual, customized travel arrangements):
Non-refundable deposit for FIT of $250 per person is required at the time of booking and before any reservations have been confirmed. In cases where suppliers demand higher deposit, that amount will apply.
Additional 50% of total is due 3 days after accommodation/hotel reservations have been confirmed.
Balance is due 45 days prior to commencement of services.
REFUND & CANCELLATION FEES FOR TOURS AND INDIVIDUAL TAILOR-MADE LAND ARRANGEMENTS:
Full refund of deposit on land portion of pre-planned and published tour packages, if cancelled 90+ days before departure.
No refund of deposit on FIT (individually tailored arrangements), regardless when cancelled.
If trip is cancelled between 90 – 45 days prior to departure, 25% penalty of total amount will be charged on all tour arrangements, including FIT’s regardless of reason.
Cancellations within 45 days but more than 14 days before departure-50% of total will be charged including FIT’s, regardless of reason.
Cancellations within 14 days – no refund – the entire amount will be forfeited regardless of reason.
REFUND & CANCELLATION FEES APPLICABLE TO GROUPS, ALL SPECIAL PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTED TOURS AND CRUISES:
If cancelled 90 days or more prior to departure: Full amount of required deposit will be forfeited for cancellation any time after booking has been confirmed.
If cancelled between 45 and 90 days prior to departure, 50% of total amount due will be charged.
If cancelled within 45 days prior to departure, the entire amount due will be forfeited.
TRAVEL CANCELLATION, INTERRUPTION AND MEDICAL EVACUATION INSURANCE is highly recommended and is available to passengers regardless where they purchase their travel arrangements. If you do not have insurance carrier, we will be happy to supply you with names and contacts for travel insurance providers.
We highly recommend every traveler to obtain travel protection that include travel cancellation (before and during trip), travel interruption, and medical evacuation policy. If ypou don’t have your own insurance carrier, please contact our cooperating insurance:
